Your first round all looks alike — dark, a person mid-run. Let's open it up.
The shift
Light for everyday. Dark for sales.
Everyday → Light
Bright, airy — the normal homepage. Dark text.
Sales / launch → Dark
Dramatic — for promos. White text. (Your current shots.)
Dark text on a bright photo reads just as well as white on dark. We'd only ever done dark. Aim ~60% light, lead with light.
The other thing to vary
Not every hero needs a runner
A person using it
Lifestyle, in a room.
Just the machine
Clean product shot. Art-direct it onto a real set — not floated on plain white.
So you're really only turning two dials: light/dark, and person/just-the-machine. ~2 variants per product.
What to make
Per product
| Product | Lead with | Photos? |
| E25 elliptical | Light lifestyle (bright room) | ✅ have |
| F80 value tread | Light product | ✅ have |
| F85 flagship | Light product (show the screen) + a Dark for sales | ✅ have |
| C80 curved, athletic | Dark studio + a Light | ✅ have |
| F83 | needs a shoot | ❌ none |
| CC81 | needs a shoot | ❌ none |
Who does what
It's all yours to art-direct
You (Markos)
- Art-direct + produce every creative — light and dark.
- Shoot F83 and CC81 (no photos exist).
- Recast E25 with a real older buyer (ours are all young athletes).
BITCADET
- Hand you the source photos + this brief.
- Export your Figma frames + wire them into the site.
- That's it — the creative is yours.
One spec to know
Building a light hero
Same masters, grid, type, and red as the original brief. The only flip vs a dark hero:
| Dark (as before) | Light (new) |
| Text | white | near-black |
| Copy area | kept dark | kept bright |
| Fade behind copy | black | white |
| Red | bright accent | #b21e2d (red fill buttons unchanged) |
Copy still sits left (desktop) / bottom (mobile). No baked-in text. Deliver Figma frames at the master sizes — same handoff as before.
Photos you already have
F63, F80, F85, E25, C80 — all shot. Each: studio packshot, console/detail close-ups, lifestyle, fold/motion.
Not shot yet: F83, CC81.
Per creative — quick check
- Marked Light or Dark.
- Headline reads on it (drop in a dummy line).
- Right colors (white on dark / near-black on light).
- Product grounded; correct colorway.
- Checked at phone + desktop.
